Clinical Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Brown County region that can be a part of our supportive team. We are seeking an independent individual, and team player with good communication skills. 

The Supervisor will:
•Provide leadership and supervision of community mental health staff.
•Assist in the clinical oversight of staff ensuring quality services and the attainment of unit productivity.
•Administer periodic record reviews of clinical notes, treatment goals and other clinical documentation.
•Have a caseload of direct service as well as provide back-up coverage as needed.

Requirements:

Required Degree: Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Required License: LISW-S or LPCC-S (Independently Licensed Social Worker/Independently Licensed Professional Counselor)
Experience in implementation of policies and procedures, and simultaneously supervising staff in a clinical and performance management role is preferred.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant

We are seeking a full-time year round Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant to provide consultation and prevention services in early childhood programs for children birth to five who have been identified as at risk.

Essential duties you will provide:
• Observe and evaluate child’s behavior in Head Start, Early Head Start or child care environment.
• Work closely with teachers, caregivers and/or parents to address specific behaviors and mental health concerns
• Facilitate the retention of children with challenging behaviors by providing consultation and prevention services and by facilitating positive mental health environments in classrooms and homes.

Requirements:

Required Degree(s): Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field
Required License: LPC, LSW, MFT
Preferred Degree(s): Master’s degree in a mental health field

Early Head Start Classroom Aide- Clermont

The full time classroom aide is responsible for working in the classrooms with children ranging in age from birth to 3 years old. This person supports the staff in the classroom and is responsible for helping with the day to day tasks and with the active supervision of children. They are provided direction from the teacher in the classroom. They work collaboratively with the teacher, family members and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities. They assist with the daily activities in the classroom including meals, light cleaning and the needs of the infants and toddlers.  The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development, flexible, dependable and has the ability to work well with others.

Salary range: Full-time, year round, hourly $9.45

Early Head Start Home Visitor

 

Location:  Cincinnati, Ohio 45244

Child Focus, Inc Early Childhood Division is seeking full time Early Head Start Home Visitor. Home visitors play an essential role in working with families to lay a foundation for their child's school readiness.  Working in the child’s home, where families are most comfortable, sets the stage for close, trusting relationships between staff, parents, and children. Through these relationships, home visitors establish a partnership with families, and help the families set and meet goals for their children and themselves.

Additionally, Home Visitors will:

  • Provide services to pregnant moms and children up to the age of 3 in their homes on a weekly basis
  • Provide educational aspects of lesson planning, screening and curriculum implementation as well as the advocate aspects including family goal setting and progress monitoring.
  • Tracks health and social service information and provides socialization experiences for the families.
  • The ideal home visitor is organized, flexible and has the ability to establish rapport and trust with families. They work well with deadlines and are good at working with a variety of people.

Requirements:

  • This is a 40 hour/ 52 week position.
  • AA required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social work, Psychology or related field. 
  • BA preferred.
  • Hourly position $12.83 to $13.54

Early Head Start Lead Teacher

Full-time, year round, hourly

Salary range: $10.56 to $12.43 an hour based on degree and experience

We are seeking an inspired and dedicated Early Head Start Lead Teacher.  The lead teacher will work with a group of 14 toddlers in a center based setting.  The lead teacher is responsible for providing a learning environment that accommodates children’s needs and stimulates learning across all domains of development.  The lead teacher is responsible for the supervision of the assistant teacher and classroom aide. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development, flexible, dependable and has the ability to work well with others.

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Supports and serves as liaison for prescribing staff, takes vital signs, and provides patient medication education
  • Schedules psychiatric appointments and assists psychiatrist as needed
  • Serves as the safety officer in outpatient setting

Required Degree(s): High School Diploma (LPN) or ADN or BSN (RN)

Required License:  Registered Nurse with clear RN license or LPN

Experience is preferred working with children/adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties in a mental health setting.

We are seeking an independent individual, and team player with good communication skills. Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Provide weekly individual, family and group mental health Medicaid CPST and case management services to children, adolescents and young adults in Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care and Independent Living programs.
  • Provide services primarily in the foster home setting and also in community.
  • Create and maintain Individual Service Plans with clients and their families.
  • Conduct intake assessments on youth in care and serve as treatment team leader.
  • Link clients with community resources and effectively collaborate with school or community professionals, JFS staff and other service providers. 

Requirements:

Required Degree(s):  Bachelor of Social Work Degree, or related field
Preferred License:  LSW

  • Some evening hours. Share on-call emergency access cell-phone rotation.
  • The right candidate will exercise critical thinking skills, be able to work independently, and have previously demonstrated time management abilities. 1-3 years of employment experience in child welfare is preferred.

  • Provide mental health services to youth and families that were referred by the Juvenile Court system.
  • Provide parent education, individual and family therapy, with the goal to reduce recidivism and prevent out of home placement.
  • Therapists will complete diagnostic assessments, develop Individual Treatment Plans, and conduct risk assessments as needed.
  • This position is part of small and supportive team that collaborates with probation on a weekly basis.

We need highly motivated and independent individuals with good communication skills to work on a team that has regular collaboration with the doctors and nurses as well as other community service providers.

  • Working closely with the doctors and nurses to provide an integrated services for the youth and their families
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, Individual Service Plans, and risk assessments.
