Clinical Supervisor

 

Location(s): Cincinnati, Ohio

Child Focus, Inc is a leading provider of behavioral health services for youth and families in the Southwest Ohio region. We are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Clermont and Brown County region that can be a part of our supportive team. We are seeking an independent individual, and team player with good communication skills. 

The Supervisor will:
•Provide leadership and supervision of community mental health staff.
•Assist in the clinical oversight of staff ensuring quality services and the attainment of unit productivity.
•Administer periodic record reviews of clinical notes, treatment goals and other clinical documentation.
•Have a caseload of direct service as well as provide back-up coverage as needed.

Requirements:

Required Degree: Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Required License: LISW-S or LPCC-S (Independently Licensed Social Worker/Independently Licensed Professional Counselor)
Experience in implementation of policies and procedures, and simultaneously supervising staff in a clinical and performance management role is preferred.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant

 

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Child Focus, Inc. is a leading provider of behavioral health services for youth and families in Southwest Ohio region. We are seeking a full-time year round Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant to provide consultation and prevention services in early childhood programs for children birth to five who have been identified as at risk.

Essential duties you will provide:
• Observe and evaluate child’s behavior in Head Start, Early Head Start or child care environment.
• Work closely with teachers, caregivers and/or parents to address specific behaviors and mental health concerns
• Facilitate the retention of children with challenging behaviors by providing consultation and prevention services and by facilitating positive mental health environments in classrooms and homes.

Requirements:
Hours Per Week: Full Time
Required Degree(s): Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field
Required License: LPC, LSW, MFT
Preferred Degree(s): Master’s degree in a mental health field
Preferred License: LPCC, LISW, IMFT

An ideal candidate would be creative, flexible, and able to work independently. Candidates must have experience working with very young children.

Early Head Start Home Visitor

 

Location:  Cincinnati, Ohio

Child Focus, Inc Early Childhood Division is seeking full time Early Head Start Home visitor. Home visitors play an essential role in working with families to lay a foundation for their child's school readiness.  Working in the child’s home, where families are most comfortable, sets the stage for close, trusting relationships between staff, parents, and children. Through these relationships, home visitors establish a partnership with families, and help the families set and meet goals for their children and themselves.

Additionally, Home Visitors will:

  • Provide services to pregnant moms and children up to the age of 3 in their homes on a weekly basis
  • Provide educational aspects of lesson planning, screening and curriculum implementation as well as the advocate aspects including family goal setting and progress monitoring. 
  • Tracks health and social service information and provides socialization experiences for the families.
  • The ideal home visitor is organized, flexible and has the ability to establish rapport and trust with families. They work well with deadlines and are good at working with a variety of people.

Requirements:

  • This is a 40 hour/ 52 week position. 
  • AA required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social work, Psychology or related field.  BA preferred. 
  • Hourly position $12.83 to $13.54

Extended Day Assistant

 

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule:The schedule could include both am (6:45 to 9:15) and pm (2:30 – 6:00) shifts for a total of 25 hours a week.
Degree Required:  HS Diploma
Degree Preferred:  A.A. (Associate of Arts) in Education or related degree
Compensation: $11.00 Per Hour

The Extended Day Program Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of the before and after school program located in the West Clermont school district. This includes activity and lesson planning, implementing curriculum and supervision of school age children.

  • Psychological evaluations, administer scores, interpret tests, and write comprehensive assessment reports.
  • Individual, family, and group treatment services
  • Clinical supervision of non-licensed psychology assistants/trainees

Flexible hours with some evening hours and on-call responsibilities. Experience working with youth and their parents preferred.

The Early Childhood Division of Child Focus, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Purchasing and Receiving Clerk. Responsibilities include ordering, purchasing and tracking supplies for our Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Clermont county including 20 plus classrooms.  Also responsible for inputting data, registering families, greeting visitors, answering phones.  Clerical organizational skills and computer experience a must.  This person is organized, independent, communicates well and has experience with Microsoft office.

We are seeking an independent individual, and team player with good communication skills. Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Provide weekly individual, family and group mental health Medicaid CPST and case management services to children, adolescents and young adults in Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care and Independent Living programs.
  • Provide services primarily in the foster home setting and also in community.
  • Create and maintain Individual Service Plans with clients and their families.
  • Conduct intake assessments on youth in care and serve as treatment team leader.
  • Link clients with community resources and effectively collaborate with school or community professionals, JFS staff and other service providers. 

Requirements:

Required Degree(s):  Bachelor of Social Work Degree, or related field
Preferred License:  LSW

  • Some evening hours. Share on-call emergency access cell-phone rotation.
  • The right candidate will exercise critical thinking skills, be able to work independently, and have previously demonstrated time management abilities. 1-3 years of employment experience in child welfare is preferred.

Primary duties include:

  • Provide mental health services to youth and families that were referred by the Juvenile Court system.
  • Provide parent education, individual and family therapy, with the goal to reduce recidivism and prevent out of home placement.
  • Therapists will complete diagnostic assessments, develop Individual Treatment Plans, and conduct risk assessments as needed.
  • This position is part of small and supportive team that collaborates with probation on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

We are currently seeking a licensed Therapist for an amazing opportunity to be a part of Integrated Health Services provided at Loveland Healthsource. We need highly motivated and independent individuals with good communication skills to work on a team that has regular collaboration with the doctors and nurses as well as other community service providers.

Primary job responsibilities are:

  • Working closely with the doctors and nurses to provide an integrated services for the youth and their families
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, Individual Service Plans, and risk assessments. 

Requirements:

Required Degree: Masters level therapist LPC, LSW, MFT
Preferred Degree: LISW, LPCC, IMFT

Salary range dependent upon licensure and years experience. 

  •         Strong, efficient documentation skills are a must.
  •         Must have excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.  
  •         Work schedule is between 7am and 5pm.

Primary duties include:

Providing diagnostic assessment, therapeutic services and crisis intervention in both the community and office setting.
Providing consultation to various entities in the community regarding mental health.
Work collaboratively with multiple agencies regarding individuals in need.

The ideal candidate will need to exhibit strong time management skills, work independently and remain flexible with their schedule and job duties in order to adapt to the changing programmatic needs of the agency.

Therapist must be competent regarding diagnostic assessment and crisis intervention in addition to having strong interpersonal skills to manage collaborative relationships with various Clermont County agencies.
