Classroom Aide - Sub

 

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Degree Required: HS diploma
License Preferred: CDA
Child Focus is a leader in providing quality early childhood education in a variety of settings. We are seeking an inspired and dedicated Classroom Aide Sub for our Clermont County classrooms.
You will be responsible for assisting the Teachers in a wide range of instructional assessments and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in our childcare classrooms serving children 3-5 years of age.
Responsibilities include: Work collaboratively with family members, a Lead Teacher and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities. Assist in maintaining a safe, healthy and clean learning environment, including full supervision of children at all times, in accordance with childcare licensing requirements. Provide classroom experiences that are developmentally, linguistically, culturally and age-appropriate for the children served. Assist in daily routines of the classrooms.
Additional Requirements Include: Ability to lift a child weighing 40 pounds Ability to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid •Pass physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen, and maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements •Intermediate computer literacy in email, word processing and internet navigation

Clinical Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Clermont and Brown County region that can be a part of our supportive team. We are seeking an independent individual, and team player with good communication skills. 

The Supervisor will:
•Provide leadership and supervision of community mental health staff.
•Assist in the clinical oversight of staff ensuring quality services and the attainment of unit productivity.
•Administer periodic record reviews of clinical notes, treatment goals and other clinical documentation.
•Have a caseload of direct service as well as provide back-up coverage as needed.

Requirements:

Required Degree: Masters in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Required License: LISW-S or LPCC-S (Independently Licensed Social Worker/Independently Licensed Professional Counselor)
Experience in implementation of policies and procedures, and simultaneously supervising staff in a clinical and performance management role is preferred.

Extended Day Assistant

 

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule:The schedule could include both am (6:45 to 9:15) and pm (2:30 – 6:00) shifts for a total of 25 hours a week.

Degree Required:  A.A. (Associate of Arts) in Education or related degree
Compensation: $11.00 Per Hour

The Extended Day Program Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of the before and after school program located in the West Clermont school district. This includes activity and lesson planning, implementing curriculum and supervision of school age children.

Create and maintain Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) with clients and their families.
Link clients with community resources and effectively collaborate with school or community professionals.
Provide services primarily in a school setting and also in the home and community.
 
Requirements:
Degree Required:  Bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
License Preferred: LSW
Required Experience: 1 Year Minimum Related Experience

The right candidate will exercise critical thinking skills, be able to work independently, and have previously demonstrated time management abilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, team player with good communication, organization and documentation skills.

Primary duties include:

  • Provide mental health services to youth and families that were referred by the Juvenile Court system.
  • Provide parent education, individual and family therapy, with the goal to reduce recidivism and prevent out of home placement.
  • Therapists will complete diagnostic assessments, develop Individual Treatment Plans, and conduct risk assessments as needed.
  • This position is part of small and supportive team that collaborates with probation on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

Hours per Week: Full-Time (40 hours)
Required Degree(s):  Masters in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
Required License:  LSW, LPC, MFT
Preferred License: LISW, LPCC, IMFT

  •  Provide individual and group treatment services for youth referred by the school system.
  •  Complete diagnostic assessments, Individual Service Plans, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with educators to assist students in achieving academic success, as well as relationship building with school administration.
  • Provide education to parents.

 Requirements:
Required Licensure:  LSW, LPC, MFT
Preferred: LISW, LPCC, IMFT

  • Completes documentation required in a timely fashion and is a self-starter/self-motivator
  • Experience working with youth and experience in a school setting is preferred.
