Life Skills

Life Skills training offers youth ages 15 and older, a comprehensive, skill-based psycho-educational training program strategically designed to prepare each youth for their pending integration into the community as a young adult. Each workbook in the series is structured to facilitate each young person’s adult role acquisition for successful academic, employment, life skills management and optimal transition into adulthood.

Five Workbooks: Choices Education and Career Planning, Personal Finance, Self-Sufficiency, Self-Care and Personal Relationships provide intensive training on the following: self-esteem, personal power, making effective life choices, education, career planning, job searching and maintenance, self-care, personal safety, substance abuse, personal finance, banking, finding and maintaining an apartment, transportation, personal relationships, intimacy and sexuality, family planning and community resources.
