Training
As the 15th largest employer in Clermont County, Child Focus’ 300 staff have a broad range of professional education including high school, associates, bachelors, masters, doctorate, and M.D. degrees. They also require ongoing training to maintain licensure and stay ahead of techniques and best-practices that will augment their skills in working with families.
The Child Focus Training Center provides on and off-site training for a variety of disciplines including counselors, social workers, psychologists, teachers and human resource development. The center offers a wide range of training topics and will prepare training to fit the needs of individual programs and companies. Employers from Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana have valued the relevant workshops that Child Focus provides to their employees and trust their high standards for adult education. The Training Center also maintains continuing education provider status for a variety of boards to meet licensure requirements.
In addition to training, the center has coordinated research projects, developed a tool for clinical use, presented material to national and international conferences and written articles for publication.
