Cathy McClain is an LPCC-S who earned her MA in Counseling from Cincinnati Christian University in 1996.  She has been employed at Child Focus since May 2022.  Cathy’s scope of responsibilities includes office-based services at the following locations: Mt. Carmel, Red Bank, and Mt. Orab.  Cathy was hired to implement OhioRISE which is a program for multi-system youth to prevent out of home placement and provide supports within the communities where you live.  Cathy’s clinical experience includes the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders and other addictions.  Cathy is responsible for the expansion of SUD services at Child Focus.  Cathy’s knowledge of SUD services and treatment models has enabled Child Focus to serve youth and their families with The Seven Challenges Model.  Cathy has a wide range of other experiences that enable her to empower the team she leads, so children, youth, adults, and families receive quality care which builds resilience and supports the communities served by Child Focus.  cmcclain@child-focus.org
