Katie Peters is the Assistant Director of Family Engagement, focusing on strengthening engagement with families enrolled in Early Learning programs while ensuring full enrollment and promoting family stability and healthy development for children. She also supports the Child Focus Parent Education & Employment Program (PEEP) work readiness team as they assist individuals in navigating employment and education goals.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker. She began her career at Child Focus in 2003 as a student intern before becoming employed in 2004 with the Behavioral Health Division. Katie provided services to foster, adoptive and kinship children and families for 18 years before transitioning to the Early Learning Division.
Katie is committed to partnering with families to support their unique journeys with Child Focus and to ensuring their voices are prioritized and their feelings are validated. kpeters@child-focus.org
