Psychiatry (Medication Services)

This service provides psychiatric evaluations to children who may be in need of medication to help with their behavioral and emotional problems. Medication services are provided by psychiatrists and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. CFI also has nurses who are available 5 days a week to provide support and consultation to families.

CFI offers psychological evaluations to assess a variety of presenting problems. Each evaluation is individually tailored to the child and family. With the information gained, CFI offers direction for intervention, and all findings, impressions, and recommendations are presented to the family in a follow-up informing interview. This process typically takes 2-3 sessions.
