Stevie McCarty-Spires, MS, OhioRISE Care Coordinator, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilmington College in 2011 and her Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Stevie is currently working full time as both an intensive and moderate care coordinator for the OhioRISE Program. Prior to working at Child Focus, Stevie worked in education, the judicial system and the medical field.

Krissie Myers, BS, graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 with her Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice. She began her career by working with youth involved in juvenile court and went on to work with children in the foster care system. She has served as a case manager and also worked as a Program Director where she licensed new foster parents. Mrs. Myers found her passion when she began working with children in the school setting as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist. She has seen firsthand that access to mental health services in schools can make a difference in the lives of students and school staff. As the Education Liaison, she promotes wellness in schools and provides support by linking districts with mental health services.

Carly Nagel, MA, LPCC, ACTRP, is the Assistant Director of Crisis Services. Carly completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Cincinnati Christian University and is an independently licensed counselor in the State of Ohio. Carly specializes in trauma-focused therapy with over 8 years of experience and is an Advanced Certified Trauma & Resiliency Practitioner. Carly is a knowledgeable trainer of trauma-focused counseling. Other areas of professional expertise include parent coaching, counseling, foster care, school-based therapy and consulting. Carly has more than 12+ years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families in the field of mental health. |
