Jennifer Rafferty  MA, LPCC-S, is the Coordinator of Community Mental Health Services, Clermont Region 1.  She received her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University in 2011.  Prior to her work as an outpatient therapist with Child Focus, Inc., Ms. Rafferty completed her internship training at Wasserman Youth and Adolescent Center; a partial hospitalization program, through Child Focus Inc., for youth struggling with severe mental illness.  During her training, Ms. Rafferty gained experience in diagnosing and treating children and adolescents with mental and emotional disorders, running therapy groups, and providing individual/family therapy.   Ms. Rafferty joined Outpatient Services with Child Focus Inc. in January 2012.  As an outpatient therapist, she performs both individual and family therapy and runs the Active Parenting group for parents who wish to strengthen their parenting skills.  In 2014, Ms. Rafferty became the Assistant Coordinator of Community Mental Health Services in the West Clermont Region.  She later became Coordinator of the region. In this role, Ms. Rafferty oversees the therapists and case managers in the region while still providing individual/family therapy to clients.

Jennifer Ramp, BA, QMHS, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies/psychology from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and has 14 years of experience working with children and families. She serves as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist for Fayetteville schools in Brown County and Hillsboro schools in Highland County. Jennifer supports students and their families both within and outside the school setting through case management, crisis intervention, prevention, and consultation services. Before joining Child Focus, she worked in the education and health care fields.

Alexus Richardson, MA, LPC, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and music and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and provides counseling services to school-age children in the Genesis/STAR program.

Jenna Chatfield, MA, is a Qualified Mental Health Specialist providing school-, community-, and home-based services for students at New Richmond Elementary Schools. She earned her Master of Arts degree in religion from Liberty University in April 2012 and is nearing completion of a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, with plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Jenna joined Child Focus in August 2021 and also serves on the organization’s Crisis Response Team.

Brent Q. Rowland, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing mental health services at the Brown County office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Shawnee State University in 2019 and his Master of Education degree in counseling and human development from Lindsey Wilson College in 2021. Brent has experience in crisis intervention and crisis management.

Larissa Gatto Ruben, MSW, LSW, is a school-based therapist at Kilgour Elementary. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University’s School of Social Work in 2023, along with a Certificate in Interpersonal Violence and Trauma. Before joining Child Focus, Larissa served as a crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line and facilitated psychoeducation groups and provided case management for young trafficking survivors in Cincinnati. She uses an empathetic, person-centered approach to support young people experiencing challenges such as depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Outside of work, Larissa enjoys riding her bike and exploring Cincinnati with her family.
