Grant Career Center and Child Focus are strengthening their partnership to provide the community with a great Early Childhood Education experience for students ages 3-18.   Grant and Child Focus staff jointly interview teaching candidates for their positions.  These teachers will have a dual role, serving as the Head Start Preschool teacher for half of their work day and a High School instructor for the Early Childhood program for the second half of the day.   This collaboration will help Child Focus equip their upcoming workforce with the best practices we embrace as a high quality, research-based early learning program.

“At Child Focus, we are committed to leading efforts to join with community partners to achieve the very best outcomes for those we serve. When great organizations join forces in mission and purpose, amazing things happen, says Pamela Lindeman, CEO of Child Focus, “The Child Focus/Grant partnership serves as a powerful example of how partnering and sharing expertise and resources positively impacts work readiness needs for our area youth.”

Child Focus serves over 1,000 children through the Head Start preschool program and extended day program for K-5 grade for West Clermont School District, in addition to 19,000 children and adults through mental health and foster care services in southwest Ohio.  This program is housed at the Grant Career Center in Bethel.
