Keeping children physically and mentally active is one of the most important jobs that parents have. A healthy body and mind will set children up for success later in life, and a few simple tasks each day in childhood can help children excel now and in the future.  

During extended breaks like winter or summer break, children sometimes go long periods without physical or mental stimulation. While a few hours a week in front of the TV is fine, children who spend too much time lying around the house will start to fall behind their peers.
