The Easter Bunny Visits Kids Via Teletherapy
April 14, 2020
Children at the Carter Center for Educational Excellence were delighted by a surprise virtual visit from the CFI Easter Bunny! Program children excitedly participated in fun activities including book reading and a creative scavenger hunt where they learned about following directions and identifying items by shape and color. Child Focus therapy staff utilized Zones of Regulation, a therapeutic activity designed to help children with emotional self-regulation. The virtual visit “grand finale” was the Easter Bunny and his assistant creatively using food coloring, baking soda and vinegar to display a visual explosion of colors on a cookie sheet for the children to see. The children of Child Focus loved this experience and it brightened their day during this difficult time. Great job Child Focus staff!
