December 2016 Staff Above & Beyond

Calendar-IconDecember 14, 2016

The following staff were nominated for this month's Above & Beyond Awards.  Winners of the drawing for a $25 gift card are Sandy Stewart, Deana Dozier, Janalyn Slick and Beth Crawford.  Congratulations, everyone, for your great work!

Deana Dozier - Deana has been very helpful at the Grant Center.  Any time I ask her to do something for me, she is on top of it with a great willingness to help!

Elinor Keller - Elinor is AWESOME!  She is always so helpful and friendly to everyone.  Right now we are down a member of the Data Entry team and she is still willing to help if she can.  She always strives to go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the information they need when they need it by the deadline they are requesting and she always does it without hesitation.  Thank you, Elinor, for all that you do!

Dianne McGuire - Dianne is always ready and willing to help.  If I ever need to print something in color, within minutes she has it placed in my mailbox.  When I walk through the hallways, she consistently checks up with me and asks how my day is going.  Dianne brightens up my day, as well as many other's here.  We are all so very lucky to have her as a co-worker at Child Focus.  Thank you for everything, Dianne!

Sandy Stewart - Sandy stayed late one day to help me input everything for my CDA credential.  She was very helpful, and the time she gave me can never be replaced but will always be remembered.

Janalyn Slick - Jana worked exhaustively to coordinate the foster care holiday party on and helped get virtually the entire party donated. Families were provided a lasagna dinner, gift giveaways and amazing photo ops with Santa and Mrs. Clause. The 60+ kids had a DJ, dancing, holiday crafts, a visit from Santa and a stocking full of goodies. A huge thank you to Jana for her efforts as she made it possible for the many kids to celebrate a very special evening. As the families were leaving, a 6 year old was overheard saying to her foster father, "that was so much fun, can we do this again tomorrow". Great job, Jana!

Beth Crawford – Beth spent more than an hour on Sunday in the 551 building with her personal carpet shampoo machine trying to remove several stains. Thank you, Beth, for going above and beyond in maintaining the appearance of our building and for your initiative and enthusiastic effort to make the CFI premises look clean and fresh!
