NAMI Southwest Ohio’s annual Evening of Hope brings together individuals living with mental illness, families, mental health professionals, elected officials, and other champions who directly improve the lives of those affected by mental illness.  Channel 9’s Carol Williams was the Master of Ceremonies and Fred Frese, Ph.D. was the Keynote Speaker.  Dr. Frese spoke about his professional and personal perspective on recovering from Schizophrenia.   That night, NAMI Southwest Ohio recognized individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary work and advocacy on behalf of people living with mental illness and their families through our Excellence in Mental Health Care Awards; congratulations to all awardees:
