June 2015 Staff Above & Beyond

Calendar-IconJune 22, 2015

Congratulations to all nominated staff for going Above & Beyond!  You will be receiving a gift card for your efforts!

Nominated:  Will Cates

Will has offered at least twice to come in at 8 a.m. when his shift at Miami Township starts at 2 p.m. to train the new CNE QMHS staff.  Will introduced the new staff to key personnel at the school and had transition sessions with some of his previous clients.   Will spent over five hours with the new staff on Wednesday and agreed to meet with her again the next week since the end of the school year is fast approaching.  Thank you Will!

Nomination: Amy Crawford

Amy is the cofounder of the CFI MTDWS group that provides hats, scarves, and gloves to any/all needy adult or child within our community.  She tracks inventory, tags inventory, and she maintains a newsletter monthly to keep us informed of all the ways this group is helping the community.  She also makes many items for MTDWS as well.  She collects and donates items to EC and manages the Campbell soup labels.  She is very willing to help out everyone in the agency from helping with the printer, to filling up bathroom supplies when they run out.   She always makes you smile when you are around her. She is the best!

Nomination: Suzie DeTellem

I would like recognize Suzie for taking on the responsibility of the retreat and making it a success!  Suzie worked extremely hard to create the 2015 Staff Retreat!  She organized all the presenters, goodie bags, awards and itinerary for the retreat.  She was the producer in chief!  Suzie rose to the challenge and created a memorable retreat that will be remembered for a long time to come.  We appreciate all that Suzie did to make the retreat a success!

Hats Off

Jessica Bowlin – As most of you know I have not been well of late. I have been in and out of the hospital and my breathing has gotten so bad I am now on oxygen.  Jessica, observing this has taken it upon herself to go and get my car every day and bring it to the front door for me.  In addition, she is always asking me if I need anything while she is up and if I ask her for anything is right there to help. I try to reciprocate by buying her lunches but nothing seems adequate for what she does for me.  When I try to tell her how grateful I am and how much it means to me she shrugs it off and tells me it is no big deal.  It is however a very big deal to me that no matter what she is doing she stops it to get my car.  I am so very blessed to have her in my life and eternally grateful for all she does for me.   Thank you Jess for ALL you do for me!
